2010 Global LED Output Ranking

Recently, some market adjustment agencies estimate that in 2010, global LED industry output value distribution (including upstream chip and package), Japanese manufacturers' market share is estimated at 26%, Korean factory is estimated at 23%, and Taichang's market share is estimated at 19%. The output value ranking may be ranked second.

According to statistics, in 2009, the total revenue of global LED packaging plants reached US$8.05 billion, which represents a growth of 5% compared to 2008. Among them, Samsung LED, with the support of Samsung Group, has an annual revenue growth rate of 175%, ranked by 2008. The number of the world's No. 4 players soared to the fourth place in the world in 2009. It is the fastest growing LED manufacturer in the world.

Observed by differences in land use, Japan’s global production value still ranks the highest, and China’s Taiwan region ranks second with 17% market share. The market share of South Korea soared from 9% in 2008 to 15% last year, ranking third in the world.
