Ten clear cultural theme LED landscape lampposts arranged symmetrically on the north-south central axis are under construction. The position of the 10 lampposts has been temporarily enclosed by the enclosure.

According to the staff, the project is expected to be completed in August. “The finished lamppost is similar to the pillars of the Forbidden Palace. The pillars are large red and there will be bucket arches on the top and bottom. Each diameter is 2 meters and the height is about 15 meters. Installing LED lighting at the top will be the main source of illumination for the entire square."

As one of the landmarks of Shenyang City, the City Plaza has been closed since May 2010 due to the overall renovation needs, and will be officially opened to the public in the near future. The city square has a total area of ​​about 68,000 square meters, about 340 meters long from north to south, and about 200 meters wide from east to west. The plaza is mainly composed of the central civic plaza area, the surrounding two Linyin leisure plaza districts, two north and south main entrance areas, and two east and west entrance areas. There are also the north-south axis and the east-west axis on the square, and the east-west axis divides the entire square into a north square and a south square.
