At that time, I felt that I hoped to be bigger and able to meet the requirements of the broadcast. Later, the director was very excited after seeing it. Because a group of lights is 21 meters, 21 sets and 63 projectors are needed. How to connect them together can not be seen. In actual operation, they also encounter a particularly large technical difficulty. Many foreign counterparts think that this is impossible. However, in the second and third of this year, we basically completed the technical requirements, and completed the splicing in May. It was because of this scheme that I thought of using this image to determine the ignition scheme. This program provides a prerequisite for Li Ning's final realization of the air ignition ceremony.
High temperature weather, fear that the light will automatically go out
Sha Xiaolan said: Although I have done lighting design for various large-scale performances, I was nervous when I was at the opening ceremony. I told others that I was never so nervous.
Sha Xiaotong recalled that all the lights we used at the opening ceremony had automatic protection. When the temperature reached 45 degrees Celsius, the lights went out. Wait until it is below 45 degrees Celsius before you can turn it back on. On the day of the opening ceremony, in order to ensure that nothing was lost, we turned on the lights at 3 o'clock. At 5 o'clock, everyone waited quietly. It was very hot that day, like a sauna. When the athletes entered the ceremony, the temperature was already high, reaching 40 degrees Celsius, and the temperature was still rising at this time. I was anxious like an ant on a hot pot. I wanted to enter the venue and hurry. At this time, the temperature continues to rise. At the most important ignition moment of the Olympic Games, if one of the lights is off, then when Li Ning is ignited, there will be a screen that is black, so the image of the ignition will be greatly discounted if there are ten lights. It’s black, it’s over, it’s impossible to broadcast. I just turned outside, I didn't dare to say such a serious situation with other directors. At that time, I was in a hurry. Later, our staff said that they would blow with a fan. But how many blows, but fortunately, there was no accident, so I was really relieved when Li Ning was over.
Sha Xiaolan said: Actually, at 6 o'clock that evening, there was a lamp with thermal protection. It was the lamp to be used in Taiji’s program. After the lamp was broken, we decided that the lamp would not be turned on until the show. Open again 5 minutes before the start, so at least 15 minutes. Therefore, one of our staff members was waiting under the lamp until we started the show. We said that it was lit. Later, the Taiji show ended successfully, and we cheered.
