1. Definition of light source
1.1 LED light source: It consists of one or more LED chips. The PN junction semiconductor device that emits incoherent light when forward biased is called the LED light source. The emitted spectrum may be in the ultraviolet, visible or infrared wavelength region.
1.2 LED array or module: (Figure 1) LED package (component) or wafer assembly on a printed circuit board or substrate, possibly with optical components, additional heat, mechanical and intended connection The electrical interface on the load side of the LED driver. 2. LED light source technical parameters
1 wavelength or XY value: Currently there are mainly red, green, blue, cyan, yellow, white, amber.
2 Current: According to the power level, the commonly used LED current varies from 20mA to 2A.
3 voltage: The voltage is related to the color of the LED chip. Generally, the VF of red, green and blue is between 1.8 and 2.4V; the voltage of white, blue and green is between 3.0 and 3.6V. 5 Color temperature: expressed in absolute temperature K. Summer noon sunshine 5500K, afternoon sunshine 4000K.
6 Luminous intensity: in terms of candela cd, is a common description of optical power and convergence capabilities.
7 Luminous flux: Calculated in lumens lm, this amount is the magnitude of the total amount of light emitted by the source, and is equivalent to the optical power.
8 Light efficiency: In terms of lumens lm/W, the LED efficacy of lighting fixtures is 80-150 lm/W.
9 color rendering: expressed in CRI.
10 half-value angle: The luminous intensity is twice the angle of the center line when it is half of the peak.
Other parameters include color purity, thermal resistance, and lifetime.
