Although each virtual reality device manufacturer has no official sales figures for externally announced products, SuperData Research has reached this conclusion through its own set of analytical theoretical basis. SuperData Research predicts that Sony PlayStation VR will be the largest VR device sold in 2016, mainly because the market has already sold more than 40 million PS4 consoles at the same time. At the same time, its price is lower than that of competitors and it is also lower than that of HTC Vive. Oculus Rift is more competitive.
Similarly, Oculus Rift released its own product for the first time after it was acquired by Facebook. However, as with HTC Vive, the two devices not only are not cheap, but they also need to meet the configured high-end PC. Therefore, at the initial stage of listing, the annual sales of these two high-end virtual reality devices will not exceed 500,000.
