Intel’s speaker Bill Calder stated that they would not provide a $100 subsidy for the Ultrabook, and the “Electronic Times” report was entirely arbitrary. At the same time, Bill Cadel also insisted that the Ultrabook subsidy plan for the outside world was crazy. The company did not consider it.

In addition, the spokesperson also said that in order to sell their products, Intel will indeed provide various marketing incentives, such as the previous advertising campaign with PC makers to jointly launch the "Intel Inside" campaign.

For the price of the Ultrabook, some time ago, Acer Chief Executive Weng Jianren predicted that the company's Ultrabook product will be reduced from US$1,000 to US$799-899 in the second quarter of 2012, with a margin of approximately 10%-20%. As more manufacturers begin mass shipments of similar products in 2012, Ultrabook prices will drop to $499 in 2013.
