The WM3100 delivers exceptional audio performance such as 108dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and -95dB total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) in a small 14-pin SOIC package with dedicated pins to control mute And output mode. The WM3100's target applications are those that require line-level output, cost-sensitive PCB design, and minimal external components such as digital TV, DVD recorders, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and set-top boxes.
The WM3100 is powered by a single 3.3V supply with ground-referenced stereo 2Vrms output and stereo differential inputs, and supports stereo single-ended inputs in both positive and negative configurations. Its stereo high-performance output amplifier can drive a variety of audio loads, while the built-in charge pump generates a negative supply for the ground reference output.
