Shan Aluminum's low-temperature Bayer alumina scale advantage

In October, China Aluminum Shandong Branch Co., Ltd. overcame the difficulties in supply of ore and raw material prices, and greatly optimized the structural adjustment project No. 1 of this year, the production and transformation of the 270,000 tons of Bayer alumina, and the monthly production of alumina has set a record. New high, the monthly production of alumina increased by 22,500 tons from the previous month, and the scale advantage of Chinalco's low-temperature Bayer alumina production demonstration base further showed.

They took the opportunity of advancing operational transformation to organize in-depth analysis of production weaknesses, scientifically blending ore, and stabilizing ingredients, achieving continuous optimization of indicators and balanced production stability. The alumina plant's monthly output reached 53,000 tons, hitting a new high; this year, it completed a total of 481,000 tons, completed the full-year plan two months ahead of schedule, an increase of 26.8% year-on-year. The second alumina plant's monthly output was 141,000 tons, an increase of 19,000 tons from the previous month, setting a record high. Compared with the previous month, the south line reduced the consumption of minerals by 0.15 tons and the alkali consumption by 6.6 kilograms.
