Since 2003, cross-strait monitoring and control companies have continuously introduced new technologies in IP network cameras, from image component acquisition technology to image processing, to video compression and signal transmission, and both are the battlefields of manufacturers across the Taiwan Strait. Of course, the rise of the general trend of IP has also brought a lot of impact to the fiery analog market. There may not be too much influence in the domestic domestic market, but in Taiwan, analog surveillance has obviously been run. Over the years, although analog products have been on the market for a long time, manufacturers have been struggling to overcome the dilemma. As a result, analog surveillance technology has stagnated from 2000 to 2009. The IT industry is quietly growing under the competition between analog and digital technology on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. This situation not only occurs in China, but also in Taiwan. Until now, many traditional monitoring technology vendors have been washed down by this wave of IT torrents, and they still do not know how this happened. This wave of IT has once again brought the monitoring technologies of the two sides into a new wave of competition.

The development of monitoring technology has also begun to form a unique development between the manufacturers on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and all this has to start with the digital video recorder DVR this love-hate thing output. After 2007, DVR production technology won the leading position on both sides of the strait. Exceedance in quantity also drives improvement in quality. In recent years, both sides of the Strait have been in a balanced and slightly competitive situation in DVR technology.
