1, test data
Rebar is a three-dimensional object with complex shapes and many detection parameters. The rebar caliper mainly detects three dimensions of the rebar section: base circle diameter D0, transverse rib or rebar spiral maximum diameter D1, rebar longitudinal rib or anchor The width dimension B of the non-helical portion.
2, detection method
This paper mainly introduces two detection methods, one is image method and the other is photoelectric method. Both of these measurement methods are online non-destructive testing equipment, which can accurately detect the tested rebar.
2.1, photoelectric method
In order to accurately obtain the size of the wire diameter rebar, the photoelectric method uses eight sets of probes to realize the detection of the rebar. The distance between the eight sets of probes is 22.5°. The built-in probe of the rebar caliper is related to the diameter of the rolled material. When working with the image rebar caliper, the industrial camera will take a section of the rebar image as shown below. Through the digitization of the image, we can analyze and calculate the following dimensions indicated in the figure: the base circle diameter D0, the spiral outer circle diameter D1, the one-sided tooth height h1, h2, the spiral pitch P and the tooth width a . In addition, the width dimension B of the longitudinal rib portion can be measured by a camera perpendicular to the photographing angle.
The image method rebar diameter measurement uses multiple industrial cameras to continuously take pictures, and the pictures taken can be clearly seen on the software system, so that the steel process can be detected. The following figure is a software system diagram using a bolt as an example. Compared with the traditional photoelectric caliper and laser caliper measured by linear CCD imaging, the advantage is that it can accurately analyze the continuous section of the rolled material, especially suitable for measuring the complex shape of the rolled material.
