According to foreign media reports, self-driving cars are changing all the rules, so German ZF decided to integrate a 7-inch touch screen with gesture control on the steering wheel to meet the requirements of “Pimp My Rideâ€. German car technology company ZF is very certain that it can improve the function of the steering wheel. Instead of adding some physical buttons and switches like many cars, it adds capacitive sensors around the steering wheel and adds a 7-inch LCD touch screen in the center.
ZF sees this steering wheel as a more natural way of controlling the various functions of future self-driving vehicles, making it easier for car and driver to choose the right of control.
