It is reported that LED automotive lighting module manufacturer Laster Tech announced that it will soon expand its production capacity in Wuhan, China to meet the growing needs of existing and new customers.
China's SUV (sports utility vehicle) manufacturer Great Wall Motor and automotive lighting manufacturer Huayu Vision Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Da Maowei Ruike Auto Lamp Co., Ltd. are the three major customers of Laster, they are all Laster A new lighting module order is available. In addition, Laster has also received orders from its new customer, Beijing Sanli Auto Lamp Co., Ltd., and will begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Laster has upgraded its production line by developing new models of automotive headlamps and fog lamps using automated equipment.
In June 2018, Laster's consolidated revenue was NT$375.3 million (approximately US$12.3 million), an increase of 24.15% from the previous quarter and an increase of 66.60% year-on-year. In the second quarter of 2018, the consolidated revenue reached NT$1,024 million, a decrease of 3.29% from the previous quarter and a year-on-year increase of 36.23%. From January to June, the consolidated revenue was NT$2,084 million, a year-on-year increase of 17.70%.
