U.S. Small Town Administration began using iPad to manage documents

Cornelius, N. C. , A small city with a population of only 25,000 previously announced the purchase of 16 Best Buy iPad-managed cities to save on paper, photocopying costs, clerical staff and other related items. 16 iPads are distributed among mayors and members of the city council. The secretary of the town, police chief, and chief financial officer are also assigned to two IT managers.

It is expected that within one and a half years, the government can use the money saved to recover all the investment on the iPad. And the iPad may continue to be deployed in the police department as appropriate.
