Motorola's Financial Results for the Fourth Quarter of 2012

§ Sales for the fourth quarter were US$2.4 billion, an increase of 6% from the same period in 2011. In 2012, sales totaled 8.7 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 6% over 2011. This result includes the income of Psion acquired on October 1, 2012.

§ Government sales in the fourth quarter were US$1.7 billion, an increase of 10% over the same period of last year, and all regions achieved growth. In 2012, government business sales were US$6 billion, an increase of 12% over 2011.

§ Business sales in the fourth quarter reached US$733 million, a decrease of 3% from the same period last year. Excluding Psion sales, business sales fell 12% in the fourth quarter. In 2012, corporate business sales reached US$2.7 billion, a decrease of 5% from 2011, including the expected decline in iDEN sales.
