Chip Capacitor Identification and Package Size

Chip capacitors come in two main types: polarized and non-polarized. Among non-polarized chip capacitors, laminated ceramic chip capacitors are quite common. On the other hand, polarized chip capacitors include chip tantalum capacitors as well as patch aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
