The unmanned subway car was first developed in the field of rail transit design and manufacturing.

According to reports, the South Island Line has a total of 10 trains and 3 trains. The train is a three-group stainless steel A-type subway train with a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. However, its biggest feature is automatic control, such as automatic wake-up, automatic operation, automatic fault diagnosis and automatic cleaning. There is also no cab in front of and behind the train, and the train ends are open spaces. However, the technical details of the unmanned subway car are still unknown.

It should be noted that although some cities in China have already opened so-called unmanned subways, such as the Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town passenger automatic transport system in 2010, the airport express train opened in Beijing in 2008 and the rail transit line 10 in Shanghai.
