Some lead battery companies that do not have clean production conditions and lack of social responsibility have directly caused a large number of lead pollution incidents. The production process of lead-acid batteries is simple, and the entry threshold is low. A group of small enterprises with no strength and qualifications have launched, leading to blood lead incidents, allowing the society to talk about "lead", and letting the outside world "demonize" the lead battery industry.

As the saying goes, there are only polluting companies and no polluting industries. As a lead battery giant, Chaowei and Tianneng have already invested a lot of money and energy to improve production techniques. It is reported that Chaowei's investment in environmental protection fixed assets has reached 25% of the annual investment, Tianneng Power has also invested more than 200 million yuan for the transformation of environmental protection equipment and technological innovation.
