Oculus Holds $1 Million in Developer Conference Prize

[PConline News] Virtual reality technology company Oculus VR announced this week that they will hold a new Mobile VR Jam Developer Conference this year. This competition supports new projects that fit Oculus's virtual reality glasses or Samsung's Gear VR. In this competition, they will provide a million dollar bonus reward for outstanding virtual reality works. This bonus is set in two directions, one of which is specifically set for VR games, and the other is to reward VR experiences and applications. The software developed must be an adaptation of the Gear VR. In the game awards, the "Platinum" award rewards $200,000, the "Gold Award" rewards $100,000, the "Silver Award" receives $50,000, and the "Bronze Award" awards $10,000. In the application awards, "Platinum" rewarded 10 dollars, "Gold" 50,000 dollars, "Silver" 30,000 dollars, and "Bronze" 10,000 dollars. The deadline for signing up for the 2015 Mobile VR Jam Developer Conference is April 1, 2015, 12:00 Pacific Standard Time. Participants must submit their work outline on April 20 and submit their progress screenshots on April 27. The project video must be submitted on May 4 before submitting the final version on May 11.
