The reporter learned from the relevant departments on July 16 that Nanjing Municipality requires all agencies, institutions and office premises to replace incandescent lamps with energy-saving lamps before the end of this year.
Nanjing requires all units and offices to replace incandescent lamps with self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamps. T12 and T8 fluorescent lamps with thicker lamps are gradually transformed into slim (more energy-efficient) T5 fluorescent lamps, and magnetic ballasts are replaced with Electronic ballasts; public places should use intelligent systems such as voice control, light control, and infrared to reduce lighting power consumption; new buildings and places should make full use of natural lighting to reduce the use of artificial auxiliary light sources; light sources use high-efficiency energy-saving products, and halogens must not be used. Non-energy-saving light sources such as thick tube diameter fluorescent lamps; buildings should be scientifically installed with lighting control design to prevent a switch from unreasonably controlling multiple lamps.
The International Trade Commission issued an anti-dumping duty on infringing LED distributors to cancel the export of Xiamen energy-saving lamps. The "Energy Conservation Law" was first revised to save resources and become the basic national policy. Kaifeng City was established. The lighting management products of the city were not included in the 2007 China Famous Brand Product Evaluation Catalogue.
