Tokyo University of Japan developed a curved ultra-thin OLED screen

On May 11th, a research team composed of Professor Denya Takashi of the University of Tokyo has developed an organic EL screen that can be flexed and stretched like a rubber sheet.

The organic EL screen is square and 0.7 mm thick. There are 256 thin organic EL elements of about 5 mm square on the silicone rubber substrate.

According to reports, organic EL is an organic compound that emits light after being powered. The display can be used as a screen for thin TVs and mobile phones. The display can be mounted on a complex surface. If it can be put into practical use, Professor Yoshiki said that it is also possible to create a machine with a unique shape such as a globe shape and a face shape.

Yuhai company develop and produce of various tube sizes, bearing variety of electrode and metallisation configurations. The tubes is fabricated from various published and additional custom in-house Piezoelectric Material formulations for applications such as high power, sensitivity, stability needs.
