On March 29th, Nanchang Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau assisted the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau to organize experts to review the “LED Street Light”, the first LED local standard drafted by Jiangxi Jinghe Lighting Co., Ltd. and other units. Jiangxi United Chuang Optoelectronics and other 6 LED enterprises above designated size in the province attended the meeting, and after fully soliciting the opinions of the provincial enterprises, after careful discussion and improvement of the experts at the meeting, the standard was adopted unanimously, and will be published as a recommended standard after further editorial changes .

It is reported that LED is short for semiconductor lighting. It uses semiconductor chips as materials and relies on electron hole recombination to emit light, and the efficiency of converting electrical energy into light energy is as high as 80%. As a lighting industry, "newborns" as an emerging lighting industry, LED has the advantages of energy saving, longevity, high efficiency, etc., the main technology and industry development is very rapid, and its application is also expanding, from the earliest and most widely used LED display Up to now, the increasingly hot semiconductor lighting, due to the lack of reliability standards, the two sides of the project often have differences in the performance and quality of LED products, which also leads to numerous acceptance disputes for products and projects and even the appearance of a public court. With the growth of market demand Accelerating the development of semiconductor lighting technology standards is imminent. It is worth noting that many developed countries and regions have invested a lot of manpower and material resources in LED standards to develop semiconductor-related standards in order to seize the opportunity of LED. Guangdong, Fujian, Hubei, etc. Local standards such as LED street lamps have been issued successively. At the same time, they are actively applying for national standard projects and fiercely competing for the commanding heights of the standard to promote market application.

The LED industry is an important industry and an advantageous industry in Jiangxi Province. It has formed a certain scale and industrial advantages, and has the important factors and conditions to seize the commanding heights of domestic and international LED industry development. In order to serve the development of the LED industry, the Nanchang Quality Supervision Bureau actively took action and visited 10 key points in the province, Jiangxi Jingneng Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Changda Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Jinghe Lighting Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Lianchuang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., etc. Enterprises, and organized a forum on March 18 to discuss how to play the role of quality supervision and promote the development of the LED industry, and finally reached the establishment of a provincial LED standardization technical committee. Through this platform, the enterprises in the province will be united and concentrated The strength, ideas and demands of various enterprises, the overall planning and overall vision of the local LED standard system, and gradually formulate the standard system in the plan in stages, and finally complete the construction of the entire LED standard system and apply it to industrial practice. To raise local standards to national standards to promote the development of LED industry in our province.

With the direct help of the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, the first Jiangxi LED local standard formulated by 4 units including Jiangxi Jinghe Lighting Company passed the expert review, which is of epoch-making significance. It is worth looking forward to that more than a dozen companies have participated in the formulation of local standards, and the establishment of four local standards such as LED fluorescent lamps, LED downlights, and lighting engineering construction and acceptance specifications using LED technology has been initiated. The introduction of these new standards will help promote the development and technological innovation of the semiconductor lighting industry in our province, achieve the survival of the fittest, change the status of low-price dumping and malicious competition in some enterprises, promote the rapid development of the LED lighting industry, and guide the industry Towards an orderly and standard state.
