Cree introduces 3-level LED bulbs to save 90% of electricity

Cree announces the latest LED bulbs with 3 segments of power and 3 brightness adjustment levels. This new product can switch between the brightness provided by 30W, 60W and 100W traditional incandescent lamps, and is said to be 90% more energy efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs at the same brightness.

Cree says that traditional energy-saving lamps or incandescent bulbs are always disappointing because there is essentially no difference in brightness control between the two. In contrast, Cree's Class 3 LED bulbs can switch between 320 lumens, 820 lumens and 1620 lumens. This means that the naked eye can detect significant changes in brightness, and there is a significant power saving effect. The power consumption of the three brightnesses is 3W, 8W and 18W respectively.

The life of the bulb is expected to reach 25,000 hours, emitting 2700K color temperature illumination, also known as soft white light. According to CREE, 320 lumens provide more mood lighting, 820 lumens provide good reading illumination, and the brightest 1620 lumens provide illumination comparable to ordinary bulbs. The LED bulb is available now and is priced at $24.97.
