Abstract: Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has developed an evaluation system capable of assessing the performance of RF ICs and antenna switches, forming a complete RF section from RF receiving to RF transmitting. This system allows for comprehensive testing of all components within the RF section of a mobile device.
The evaluation system not only tests the performance of components in the transmit and receive circuits of a handset but also provides technical support for RF impedance matching issues faced by customers during the design phase. This helps reduce the workload on designers and ensures smoother integration of RF components into terminal equipment.
This product was showcased at "CEATEC JAPAN 2011," held at the Makuhari International Convention Center in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, from October 4th to October 8th, 2011.
Background and Development Purpose:
With the increasing demand for smaller and more advanced electronic communication devices like smartphones, the need for miniaturized RF sections and multi-band RF components has grown significantly.
