Shen Hao, director of the laboratory of Shanghai Environmental Protection Product Quality Inspection Station, introduced that the core liner of household air purifiers - activated carbon or filter mesh must be replaced or cleaned after 3-5 months of use, otherwise the purification effect will be greatly reduced and even used It is useless. Activated carbon that has been saturated and adsorbed generally needs to be returned in an oven at a high temperature of 105° C. before it can reach the original adsorption level, and such recombination will fail after 3 to 4 times. The use of sunlight in home rejuvenation is generally not effective. Once the filter screen is black, it should be cleaned in time. Otherwise, the more it is blown, the more black it is, which is not conducive to purification, and it also damages the machine.

Shen Hao said that due to the mixed air purifiers on the market, setting up an air purifier industry alliance and setting industry alliance standards is imminent. Some purifiers advertised exaggerated purification effects, claiming formaldehyde, PM2.5, PM10, and xylene are all eliminated; there are also some purifiers that generate harmful gases such as ozone when they run, making the public unpredictable. The newly formed air purifier industry alliance is the first non-profit air purifier industry alliance in China. Its main task is to research, formulate and implement alliance standards and specifications, and promote the industry, so that the final air purifier users can Conveniently distinguish the applicable scope, functions, cost-effectiveness, usage, and maintenance of various types of air purifiers on the market. At present, industry alliance standards have been drafted and will be introduced within the year.
