When we study foreign theatre construction experience, we mainly learn from European experience. But the large-scale imitation of the European stage form is not necessarily the stage form that best suits our theater. Most of the theaters in Europe are theater repertoire theaters. Their performance system is performed every day during the performance season, and it is played in different dramas. The large-scale scenery of the performances is used more. Therefore, it is often necessary to prepare a set for the next show on the auxiliary stage around the main stage. Most of their mechanical stages are mainly for the purpose of transporting sets. The main school in our country is the stage of this model in Europe.
Most of China's theaters are rental theaters, which have different performance procedures from Europe. They are used to: installing the platform → performing several identical programs → dismantling the stage, and the mechanical stage for transporting the scenery is basically useless. Some people mistakenly think that these stage machines with the main task of transporting scenery are mainly used to participate in performances. In fact, many stage machines used for performances are specially designed to have higher safety requirements and better performance effects. . 2 Ignore the understage stage form of North American countries

3 too many types of stage

There are many changes in each type of mechanical stage. Taking the character-type stage as an example, it can be simplified reasonably, such as increasing the depth of the lifting platform and reducing the number of lifting platforms. It is also possible to build only a single-sided platform and make an asymmetric stage. . These are not only the design according to local conditions, but also the starting point for meeting the needs of different dramas.

In addition to the character type, the four-sided stage can also be made into a field type that is conducive to the rotation of the set, and can also be developed into a seven-sided stage and a nine-sided stage. In short, we can learn from the stage form of Europe, not just a kind of learning. It is necessary to select a suitable mechanical stage form according to the needs of the performance, and it is also possible to develop some new mechanical stage forms as needed. Like the multi-layer mechanical stage of the Shanghai Oriental Art Center Theater, the double-deck turntable of the Chinese Theater is more in line with the requirements of the project.
China's character-type stage has been created too much, and we should consider building other forms of the stage as much as possible, so that the popular theaters have a suitable stage to perform. In particular, we must not blindly violate the law when we do not have the conditions for the construction of the character-type stage, and hard-produce some of the plausible cottage-style stage.
4 The width of the port is too large
In the past ten years or so, there have been about 70 mirror-framed stages with a width greater than or equal to 18 m in the new theaters in China, which has clearly deviated from the actual needs of the performance. The view that the wider the mouth of the station is, the higher the theater grade is, there is still a certain market. When a province built a large public theater in 2013, the main leaders of the local cultural department proposed the estuary at least 20 m. I don't know what kind of drama the big Taiwanese theater will be ready to perform in the future. How good the performance can be.
