Xinsong domestic mobile robot growth record

The GM Chevrolet Camaro is a prototype of the "Bumblebee" and has gained popularity in the sci-fi movie "Transformers". However, it is rarely known that in the general assembly shop, the AGV robot of China Xinsong Robotics Co., Ltd. assisted in the final assembly.

What makes Xinsong people even more proud is that domestic and foreign cars, as long as they use the AGV model, are almost all new products. Qu Daokui , president of Xinsong Robotics Co., said that Xinsong’s industrial manipulator is the domestic leader, but AGV has achieved global leadership.

It is understood that from the establishment of Xinsong to the present, the number of AGV-related intellectual property types has reached more than 80, and hundreds of AGV projects have been completed. In this field, it has maintained a monopoly advantage for more than ten years. (See Figure 1)

It can be said that the Xinsong AGV robot is like a sharp knife, piercing the monopoly of international robot giants. According to the data, in 2014, in the domestic robot market , only the localization of AGV robots reached 78.13%, and the domestic brand share of widely used planar articulated robots and multi-joint robots was only about 10% (see Figure 2). ).

Correspondingly, the patent application for China Mobile Robotics (AGV) has been increasing year by year in the past decade (see Figure 3). According to the expectation of the GGII, the average annual growth rate of China's AGV robots will increase to about 50% in the next three years, which provides a huge imagination for China's AGV robot companies represented by Xinsong. (See Figure 4).

The rise of Xinsong, with occasional factors, is also the result of China's advance layout of cutting-edge technology. In fact, the history of the Xinsong AGV production line is more than 20 years earlier than the Xinsong robot, a company founded in 2000.

As early as the 1980s, the Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences began to lay out computer integrated manufacturing systems and intelligent robot research with the support of the "863 Program."

But let these technologies accumulate out of the laboratory is the Sino-foreign joint venture Shenyang Jinbei Bus Company, which was established in July 1991. At that time, after the other parts of the production line were installed, the foreign companies that provided the assembly equipment defaulted, resulting in the entire production line not being put into production.
