Vicor has introduced a new line of power modules in the 3623 ChiP package, which measures 1.52 x 0.90 x 0.29 inches. These modules are designed to support input voltages up to 30V and are ideal for applications such as UAVs, land vehicles, radar systems, transportation, and industrial control. The input voltage range is from 9V to 50V, and they offer output voltages of 5V, 24V, 28V, and 48V with power levels reaching up to 160W, achieving power densities of up to 404W/in³.
In addition, Vicor has launched modules in the 3623ChiP package that support 120W at 3.3V output with a 28V input rating (input range: 16V–50V). There are also modules in the 4623ChiP package that support 275V input (120V–420V), delivering 12V output and offering 375W of power. Another version of the 4623ChiP package supports 500W at 48V output with a 270V input rating (input range: 160V–420V), measuring 1.89 x 0.90 x 0.29 inches and achieving a power density of up to 1,014W/in³.
