LED intelligent control definition
LED intelligent control refers to the use of intelligent human-machine interface, intelligent signal network control, intelligent power supply network control, intelligent lighting control to achieve intelligent light.

The intelligent light is the purpose, the human-machine interface is the means, the signal control and the power supply control are the medium. Intelligent light means that light is distributed on demand, otherwise it is waste, and waste is not intelligent. In an environment with intelligent light, people can set the demand for lighting through the human-machine interface. The sensing network senses the demand. According to the output mode of the light distribution, the mode can determine the light output of the lamp. Controlled by the signal network.

The light environment of the Expo Axis of the Shanghai World Expo, the front section is a steel-structured glass curtain wall building with 30,000 LED star lights on it. In its star-space mode, the power consumption is only 1% of the peak value, which indeed plays a good role in controlling energy conservation. In addition, there is no high pole light near the membrane structure building, but the reflection of the ceiling membrane provides the lighting environment. The light environment is very soft, and the nearly one kilometer long reflected light environment enhances the night lighting quality of the Expo.

LED intelligent control has four major trends, namely top-level control Internet, power supply control automation, energy-saving control interaction and fault feedback automation.

Top level control internet
The Internet links the world, and is also linking objects. As part of the Internet of Things, lighting is also connected, which is the trend of the times. In terms of the current market application, the first step to be done is that the LED top-level control should be able to connect to the network. This is not difficult, as long as the interface of the original physical switch box dimming device is replaced by a graphical interface or a virtual interface, so that the spatial distribution relationship between the light and the control is relatively separated.


An interesting example is shown in Figure 2 above. At the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Awards, the audience was very excited about a WIFI-controlled LED vest. As shown in the figure, the text on the LED vest is 20 meters away from the people sitting at the venue to send out the display content through the computer. From a purely technical point of view, this is not difficult, but from the LED ERA (LED era) displayed in this LED vest, LED is really entering the era of diversified application, its control method The Internet trend is also very obvious. This trend will accelerate expansion and affect many LED applications.
