SONATE (Swisscom OpTIcal Network for all IP-Transport Services) is Swiss Telecom's next-generation wave division network based on the All IP strategy and covering the entire Swiss territory. SONATE provides 1Gb / s for each base station and 10Gb / s for each FTTH access point through the backbone to the end-to-end OTN network.
