The "objective conditions and progress" in Miao Wei's words are mainly aimed at the maturity of China Mobile's TD-LTE trial network and the entire industry chain. As far as the latest progress is concerned, it is not yet the best time to fully commercialize 4G.
The network still needs deep coverage
First, network infrastructure. The latest data from China Mobile shows that the current TD-LTE 4G network has basically achieved 16 pilot cities, completed the construction of 20,000 base stations, and launched various business experiences. By the end of this year, it will further cover 100 cities, complete the construction of 200,000 base stations, and purchase 1 million terminals.

From the initial 16 pilot cities to 100 cities in one year, this is obviously not a simple matter. Base station location, construction scheme (F-band or D-band), construction difficulty, etc., all require a lot of manpower, material resources, and financial resources. China Mobile's eagerness to launch 4G is clear to the industry. It is nothing more than reversing the backward situation in the TD-SCDMA period, but the quick success will inevitably repeat the same mistakes.
The industry chain only owes Dongfeng
In the case of China Mobile's tireless efforts to promote TD-LTE 4G construction, the industry chain is more active than in the 3G period, and everyone does not want to live in the TD-SCDMA period. However, all of this still depends on the construction of the basic network. No quality terminal without good network coverage is just a landline for calling.
