On October 24th, the famous domestic screen maker BOE announced the performance report for the first three quarters of 2017. The data shows that BOE’s total operating income for the period from January to September was 69.4 billion yuan, an increase of 51.41% over the same period of last year, which was attributable to the shareholders of the listed company. Net profit reached 6.48 billion yuan, an increase of 45 times over the same period of last year. In terms of specific categories, BOE ranks first in the world in shipments of smart phone LCD screens, tablet PC screens, and notebook computer screens, and the second largest in the world in display monitor and TV display shipments.

The significant increase in profits of BOE is mainly due to the increase in the prosperity of the semiconductor industry. At the same time, the BOE A's stock price performance was also very strong. It rose from 2.84 yuan at the opening of January 3, 2017 to 5.22 yuan at the close of today's close. The cumulative increase was 83.8%, and the gains were gratifying.
