The reporter learned from the Nancheng Public Utilities Service Center that the road network LED light transformation plan has been confirmed and will be submitted for bidding. According to the plan, Nancheng will invest more than 29 million yuan to renovate the street lights in the jurisdiction in two phases.

According to reports, compared with the traditional high-pressure sodium lamp, the LED lamp has a power saving rate of more than 50%, which has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection and longevity, and greatly saves the cost of public electricity. According to estimates, after the completion of the renovation, the district can save about 4.5 million yuan in electricity costs each year, saving about 609,800 yuan of street lamp maintenance costs.
