BYD LED bulbs and incandescent lamps comprehensive comparison evaluation

In order to let ordinary consumers have an understanding before buying and using LED lights, Sohu Focus Home Products Evaluation Platform chose a representative LED bulb - BYD Lighting GL-06N. The GL-06N product package shows that it can replace 40W incandescent lamps.

1, the appearance of the size comparison

The bulb is in the shape of an A60 lamp with a maximum diameter of 60 mm and a length of 110 mm on the package label. After opening the outer packaging of the product, we found that there is a layer of foam bag and inner paper card in the package to protect the product. The bulb head is made of a universal E27 screw for easy replacement.

The bulb's lampshade is made of milky white glass, which contributes to the uniformity of light transmission while reducing glare. The lampshade is printed with the BYD Logo logo, model and parameters, and the user can visually see the product's brief information.

The lamp cup (heat sink) of the bulb is made of aluminum and is made by die casting. The external gear is shaped to provide rapid heat dissipation. The surface is silver, smoothed and feels very good. The joint between the radiator and the plastic part is tight, without gaps and without shaking. The spiral port adopts the traditional standard E27 screw port. The riveted pinhole has uniform size and no looseness, the surface is smooth, the workmanship is very good, the installation is very smooth, and there is no stuck screw.

After testing, the actual maximum diameter of the G6 bulb is 59.92 mm, the actual length is 109.93 mm, and the maximum diameter of the bulb indicated on the package label is 60 mm and the length is 110 mm within a reasonable error range.

40W incandescent lamp

Sohu Focus Home chose a normal 40W incandescent lamp on the market for testing, and incandescent lamps were packed in paper tubes. The package is printed with instructions for the product, the manufacturer and their contact details.

The incandescent lamp adopts the standard E27 screw port, and the connection with the glass lamp body is fixed by glue, and the top of the screw mouth has traces of wire bonding, and the installation is smooth.

The 40W incandescent bulb package has a maximum diameter of 57 mm and a length of 101 mm. The actual test results have a maximum diameter of 56.79 mm and a maximum diameter of 101.34 mm. The product error is within an acceptable range. In summary, the G6 bulbs have good workmanship for both metal parts and plastic parts. There are no burrs and corners at the joints. The overall workmanship is good, the materials are solid and the appearance is exquisite; the size of the product is comparable to that of ordinary incandescent lamps. Can be replaced.

2, power comparison

G6 bulb power is nominally 6.9W, measured 7.0W. In accordance with the provisions of 5.3 of GB/T24908-2010, when the lamp is operated under rated voltage and rated power, the difference between the actual consumed power and the rated power shall be no more than 15% or 0.5W, within a reasonable error range.

The 40W incandescent bulb has a nominal 40W and is measured at 41.09W.

3, color temperature, color rendering index comparison

The ability of a light source to develop an object is called color rendering, and is a comparison of the appearance color of an object with a reference to the same color temperature or a reference light source (incandescent or painted).

The G6 color rendering index is measured at 82, which is close to the incandescent lamp color rendering index, which can restore the original color of the object to the greatest extent.
