GE Lighting provides green and energy-efficient lighting solutions for a range of outlets at Tune Asia. GE Lighting assists Tune in its assessment, planning and design work, providing expertise and skills in low-cost operating models, sustainable development approaches, infrastructure cost planning, energy reduction and green technology applications. Currently, Tune has 25 chain stores in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and the United Kingdom. The partnership with Tune is GE's first partnership with major economic chain hotels in Asia.

In the early days of the cooperation, GE Lighting has implemented energy-efficient lighting solutions at three Tune hotels in Malaysia. At the Tune Hotel in Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur, approximately 2,876 lamps have been replaced by GE's products, including: LED bracket lights and Tetra miniMAX logo lighting systems.

The GE team's goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for the hotel, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the experience at the Tune Hotel, and feel at home. In three branches in Malaysia, LED bracket lights are installed in elevator halls, corridors, bathrooms, guest rooms and curtain boxes.
LED bracket lights are mainly used for ambient lighting. Compared with the original traditional fluorescent lamps, the LED bracket lamps meet the brightness requirements of customers, and the light distribution is more uniform, saving more energy.
